Extra Sessions
We run a number of additional sessions for children which support the swimming lessons.
Intensive crash courses
Our crash courses run for four or five days. They include intensive teaching and generally run during the school holiday period. The courses are designed to develop skills quickly. They are available to everyone, including to children already enrolled onto AquaEd and those who are not currently members.
Technique Booster classes
Our booster classes are for existing members and focus on one competency. This is helpful if a technique is hindering a pupil’s progress through the scheme.
Distance Awards session
If your child can swim 25 metres or more, they can earn awards in our Distance Sessions! They will swim continuously within the Swim England guidelines and achieve certification at the end.
Taster sessions
We provide one-off taster sessions to introduce children to new skills. You must be a new customer to take advantage of these.
